New · Suggested Scheduling

Stop building the schedule. Start approving it.

Suggested Scheduling is the next step for FlightLogger. Pick your students and the days you want to plan, and FlightLogger builds a complete draft schedule for you. Your scheduler reviews, adjusts, and publishes.

  • Students who are behind pace are planned first
  • Every booking is checked against your school's rules
  • You review. You publish. You stay in control.

How it works

From puzzle to proposal in three steps

Your scheduler stops building the week from scratch and starts from a schedule that already fits.

1

Choose students and days

Select a class or individual students, the days you want to plan, and how many sessions per student per day.

2

Get a complete draft

Suggestions arrive as unpublished bookings marked “Suggested”, with the students who are furthest behind planned first.

3

Review and publish

Edit, move, or delete anything, then publish per day or per booking. Nothing reaches students or instructors until you do.

What flight schools told us

Scheduling is the puzzle no one has time for

We asked our launch partners how they schedule today. Here is what they told us.

Up to 150 ha week spent building and fixing the flight schedule
Up to 80%of students behind their planned schedule
Up to 6 monthsextra training time for students who fall behind
Up to 2×the flight hours schools want to fly with their current aircraft and instructors

Suggested Scheduling is built to give that time back.

Based on questionnaires from our Suggested Scheduling launch partners, 2026.

Why it works

It works because everything is already connected

Suggested Scheduling builds on what already lives in FlightLogger. Every suggestion respects the rules your school already has, and a summary after each run shows what was scheduled, what was skipped, and why.

FAQ

Questions about Suggested Scheduling

When will Suggested Scheduling be available?

We're opening early access first. Join the list and we'll reach out with timing before anyone else hears about it.

Does it replace our scheduler?

No. Suggested Scheduling does the puzzle work. Your scheduler reviews, adjusts, and publishes, so you stay in full control of every booking.

What does it base the suggestions on?

Each student's progression and required pace, prerequisites and program order, instructor qualifications, certificates, preferences and daily limits, permitted aircraft models, operating hours, availability, bases, and your account's booking rules.

Does it schedule ground training?

Suggested Scheduling starts with flight training: dual, solo, and simulator sessions. Ground and theory sessions are scheduled the way you do today, and the suggestions plan around them.

We already use FlightLogger. How do we get ready?

Suggested Scheduling builds on FlightLogger's Student Progression. Make sure expected dates, programs, prerequisites, aircraft models, instructor certificates, availability, and operating hours are up to date. The better your setup, the better the suggestions.

We don't use FlightLogger yet. Can we still join?

Yes. Join the early-access list and we'll show you how Suggested Scheduling and the rest of FlightLogger fit your school.
