The challenge

As FAA's reputation grew, so did its student intake and operational complexity. Managing a wide range of programs — from ab initio cadetships to modular and flexible courses — with spreadsheets, paper logs, and disconnected systems created real bottlenecks: scheduling conflicts, manual compliance tracking, and limited real-time visibility for management.

The solution

In 2024, FAA selected FlightLogger after benchmarking leading flight school management platforms and consulting with peer academies. Implementation began with a structured onboarding process, including specialized training for FAA's instructors and students. Key changes included centralized scheduling of aircraft, simulators, and instructors, digital student folders tracking PPL through ATPL modules, and integrated compliance with automated alerts for expiring certificates.
